How to Enroll
As a parent or legal guardian, you can apply for CHIP for your child. It’s easy, and we can help you enroll! Visit Pennsylvania Department of Human Services to apply for or renew your benefits. You may choose to apply online, with a paper applications, or in-person for WellKids by PA Health and Wellness.
Apply online on the COMPASS website or through the myCOMPASS PA mobile app, Pennsylvania’s fast and easy way to apply for health and human services benefits.
Visit your local county assistance office and apply in person.

Benefits and Services

Co-Pays
A co-payment is the amount you pay for some covered services. It is usually only a small amount. You will be asked to pay your co-payment when you receive the service, but you cannot be denied a service if you are not able to pay a co-payment at that time. If you did not pay your co-payment at the time of the service, you may receive a bill from your provider for the co-payment.
