As you get started with your new health plan, here’s what to expect:

You should receive your participant ID in the mail within 1 to 2 weeks after enrollment. It’s important for you to have so you can get the medical care you need. You can also download a digital copy of your ID online with your participant account. And be on the lookout for welcome information and a welcome packet. These resources include details about your benefits and services.

HOW TO GET THE MOST OF YOUR COVERAGE

There are just a few things to do to get started with your plan. Doing these will let you get the very most from your coverage. Each one only takes a few minutes.

  1. Create an online account. Finishing your participant account is the easiest way to take ownership over your healthcare. You can view your coverage details, find a provider, update your personal information, and much more.
  2. View your primary care provider. Once you set up your online participant account, you can view your care provider. Confirm your details and schedule your appointment today! 
  3. Complete a quick health survey. To get all the care you need, it’s important to take our quick health survey. It’ll help you get the right care and services for your needs. 
  4. Submit a Notice of Pregnancy (NOP). If you or someone under your health care coverage is pregnant, it’s important to submit a notice of pregnancy. This is an important first step in getting care for your child before and after delivery. 
  5. Participant Handbook. Get familiar with your benefits. Your participant handbook includes details on your benefits and how to use the services and programs available.
